About Aseptic
The concept of Aseptic packaging is packing a sterile product without re-contamination in a Aseptic packing system to give long shelf life to the product (60 to 180 days) at ambient temperature eliminating cool chain. The product is processed at Ultra High Temperature (UHT) upto 140 ° C for a brief period and rapidly cooled to room temperature to approx. 20° C. This eliminates bacteria / micro-organisms harmful for human consumption without losing the nutritional value of the product making it sterile.
