Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Location: Shirwal factory

Job Description:

Candidate should work in Nichrome India Ltd at Shirwal, Nichrome India Ltd is a rapidly growing firm offering an exciting work environment with constantly changing and growing challenges. Candidate must be a creative and driven mechanical engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

New product & new technology development.

• Design & develop mechanical system solutions based on engineering principles. Support design decisions with analysis and calculations, as required.
• Participate in peer to peer design reviews and provide critical feedback to colleagues.
• Drafting of mechanical components and sub-assemblies in solid edge 3D software. Provide 3D modelling in Solid edge of all solutions developed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to assembly team to insure proper machine assembly and functionality.
• Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.
• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.
• Create accurate Bills of Material documentation on PLM & ERP system.
• Selection of appropriate materials and processes for designed parts.
• Identification and selection of technology and off the shelf solutions that can be implemented to achieve the project goals.
• Mechanical design of customized solutions including; motor sizing, pneumatic/electro pneumatic and electrical routing.
• Provide hands on assembly assistance and precise measurement techniques in order to collect data and identify root causes of machine bring-up issues.
• Involved in pricing / detail costing of new development products.
• Knowledge of DFMEA & DFM
• Involvement in new component development at Vendor end.

Required Skill Set:

• Hands-on experience 2D & 3D software like AutoCAD, Solid Edge
• GA drawings and BOM preparation
• Excellent analytical skills

Qualification: B.E/DME (Mechanical/Electrical)

Embedded Software Engineer

Job Location: Shivajinagar

Responsibilities:

• System Design using ARM Cortex M0,M4 ,Multicore Processors. Experience on Renesas Microcontroller will be added advantage.
• Should have experience in Embedded C
• Ability to select correct active and passive electronic components of proper capacity, according to design requirement
• Knowledge of Electronic design process& circuit simulation techniques
• Aware of different communication protocols like Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, RS 485,SPI ,I2C
• Wireless connectivity including WI-FI, BLE.
• Graphic , LCD Display interfacing .
• RTOS ( Real Time operating System)
• High resolution ADC, DAC interfacing, including Loadcell.
• Must be well versed in Power electronics.
• Expertise in Analog signal processing with EMI/RFI interference measures
• Aware of IOT concepts and able to design system supporting IOT interface
• Provides support relating to electronic field testing
• Well verse with different electronic component
• Should be aware of working principles of different sensors, Loadcell, Stepper and servo motor
• Defines and carries out testing to determine relevance of a given design to a product design
• He will be responsible for designing and implementing Hardware , software to develop embedded solution/Product. He will design, develop, code, test, and debug the system software.
• To enhance embedded software, hardware design skill of team .
• Implementation of RTOS wherever possible.
• Program & its revision management using tools like Github.
• To monitor / implement ESD practices.

Automation (E&C) Engineer

Job Objective:

Automation engineer/expert is responsible for the design, configuration and integration of control systems of machines involving motion control, Pneumatics associated with IOT interface. Additionally, he will provide set up and start up of hardware and software for the PLC, Variable frequency drives, Servo drives, Stepper drives, control and communication networks and other miscellaneous electrical hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Panel design
• Create and build modular selectable BOM for electrical and automation system;
• Create and design Electrical interfacing drawings of international safety standards;
• Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming (PLC, HMI, Servo drive, Stepper drive, VFD), simulation, testing and start up;
• Specify, design and build modular selectable programs to be installed on the equipment;
• Ensure designed software is associated with compatible communication ports supporting IOT interface;
• System monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting operational problems;
• Select and configure other automation devices such as VFDs, Servo systems, Stepper motor controls for automation/control;
• Involve in New Product development design process in view of optimum sizing of motion control devices such as Stepper/Induction/Servo motors;
• Modify existing programs from customer requirements;
• Provide guidance to Field Service Engineers in programming, repair, installation and maintenance of PLC systems;
• Participate in customer complaint analysis and resolution;
• Provide technical support in developing and improving processes;

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or related field preferred;
• 5 or more year’s experience in PLC programming required; C++ and Embedded C Programing
• Strong knowledge of interfacing analog systems, strain gauge load cell and third part interface;
• Proficiency with multiple manufacturers automation hardware and software including, but not limited to, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron, Delta, Trio and Mitsubishi;
• Sound knowledge of different communication protocols and IOT proficiency;
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred;
• Experience reading and modifying electrical control schematics;
• Knowledge of safety protocols;
• Knowledge of Servo motion control systems
• Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatics systems;
• Ability to generate problem solutions, serve as an advisor, develop operating procedures, and influence other employee’s work to some extent

Experience: 5 or more year’s

Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
